GENERAL PROCEDURE FOR OVER FLIGHT AND LANDING PERMISSION AND FOR CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATION SERVICES ON BAIA MARE AIRPORT ROMANIA
1. International flights transiting Romanian airspace or into/from the Romanian territory shall be subject to the current Romanian regulations relating to civil aviation, as published in Romania's Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP).
The operator who intends to perform private flights into Romania for the purpose of taking on or discharging passengers and/or cargo, has to submit an application at least 3 (three) days (72 hours) in advance before the date of flight to: Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority - to the following addresses:

The applications for private flights into Romania shall contain the following information:
a) applicant name, nationality and address;
b) aircraft type, registration marks and maximum take off weight;
c) flight general itinerary, route to be followed over the territory of Romania, landing / take-off points and estimated times (THE ESTIMATED SCHEDULE OF FLIGHT);
d) the purpose of flight, number of passengers and/or cargo nature and amount, if applicable;
e) receiving party in Romania;
f) FL and if IFR or VFR;
g) fuel type needed / if it's necessary;
Note: Starting with 28 sept 2001, flights from/to Romania will be authorised subject to the existence of a guarantee for the standard value of 50 millions US dollars - "Third Party Reliability Insuarance", following the new conditions determined by the tragic events of 11 sept. 2001.
2. It's likely the application to be sent also to Baia Mare Airport in case that the operator intends to perform to Baia Mare private flights for the purpose of taking on or discharging passengers and/or cargo.
